Computer Problems… Again

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

An apology to everyone. Aidalia’s computer gave us a few problems this week, so she had to draw this page in paper, the way our ancestors did in the days of old…

Anyway, in this page we capture the many reactions manifested as we wait for Dane to react to this social situation. Lucian, of course, is thrilled to be able to analyze this situation. Lar is mad at the childish, liberal behavior of his wife, and Cynthia can’t wait to have yet another man to be seduced soon by her charms.

And Dane? We’ll have to wait until Monday to see his reaction.

No, No One’s Coming Out

It’s fixed. Sorry for all the inconveniences, and thank you!

One of the many problems about writing a web comic, and not draw it yourself, is the issue of clarity when writing the script. Take today’s strip, for example. The last panel really doesn’t look anything like the way I thought it would, and it surely does convey erroneous things about Dane.

The last panel was supposed to be a profile take of both characters, yes, but from away, showing their actual position, VERY far away from each other.

I just wanted to let you all know that’s the way things should have gone. We’ll be fixing this as soon as possible.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Thursday, April 9th, 2009

Since the holidays are coming, we decided we’d post a little treat for all of you.

We have Ana celebrating the holidays here. We hope you like the drawing, and we’d like to inform you also that this drawing will be up soon, available for you to download as a wallpaper, or a PDF file with the proper measurements to be print out as a poster.

Happy Holidays, everyone. We hope you have a fine time with your family and loved ones.

Unbelievable

unbelievable

I think it’s unbelievable how some people will actually go out of their way just to try to bother you, make you feel bad. I sincerely can not believe that out of simple spite, they’ll throw punches at your self esteem and try to bring you down.

Normally, these people don’t know what they’re talking about. Normally, they’ll desguise their identity, and they’ll actually think they’re doing the right thing.

I’m writing this so that the people that have dared to challenge odds may be warned. I’m warning you so that the chase of your dreams is not sabotaged. If you set out to do something you like, something you’re betting will earn you a livin, you better make damn sure you’re good at it.

How do you do that?

Find the opinion of someone who knows what he’s talking about. Someone honest. Someone you admire.

Be careful chasing your dreams. Each step yo take is more dangerous than the last. Strengthen your heart, don’t shield it. Make it sturdy, not inaccesible.

Thanks go out to Ryan Sohmer. An incredible writer and someone who knows what he talks about.
